The oil filter 57521 is a model screw-on designed for lubrication service at full flow. It uses a filtering media made of improved cellulose, allowing for a retention capacity suitable for the requirements of the diesel engines for which it is intended.
This filter is equipped with a bypass system set at 19 PSI, ensuring continuity of lubrication when the media restriction exceeds the specified value. Its robust construction can withstand a burst pressure of 320 PSI, while its thread 1 1/2‑12 ensures reliable compatibility with various diesel engines.
With a capacity of 28 to 30 GPM and a nominal filtration of 22 microns, this model meets the needs of a wide range of applications, including several Isuzu diesel engines as well as GM series "W" tilt cab trucks.
