This Poly-Tite chrome-plated brass fitting is designed for installations using thermoplastic tubing and certain soft metals. Thanks to its compression mechanism, it allows for quick assembly: inserting the tube into the body is enough to complete the connection. For disassembly, simply lower the latch and remove the insert.
The fitting comes pre-assembled, including the body, nut, and sleeve. The acetal copolymer sleeve offers excellent dimensional stability and resists creep as well as compression-related stresses. It also withstands UV rays. The nut rotating around the sleeve during tightening prevents tube twisting, thereby improving installation reliability. This fitting is suitable for various sectors including dental, packaging, automotive washing, and laboratory environments.
